I intend to plant about 150 teak / sag trees in 3 -4 rows on 1 border of my farm plot and about 10-12 tamrind trees near the water course flowing near my farm.
Kindly advise the type of sag and tamring plants: root stock variety / tissue culture / name of cultivar etc. would be suitable ?

Thanks for the response. No other symptoms are noticed except red marks on leafs. Also, the leaves are soft to touch and are not crispy. I am told that the leafs should be soft and should not turn crispy when folded with hand...is that correct ?
No agriculture business is profitable... its' only utilisation of time..not return on capital and labour employed. ROI would be less than bank interest rate ?. The inflation in land rate is the only profitable venture..!!
I recently planted G9 tissue culture plants. The new leafs of all (ALL) plants are having red marks (stains) on them. None of the earlier leafs have these red marks. Why are these marks ?
a) Are these due to excessive heat during the last 6-7 days ?
b) Due to excessive insectiside sprinkling ...

Many thanks for your reply. To answer your querries: the land is typical Dapoli red type on a slight sloping terrain with some rocky areas. Water is rainfed and planning to dig an open well in MARCH - aPRIL 2011 !
