This is to inform youn that, the best place for orchid is the north-eatern part of India, which you also mentioned. To detail out, I would like to tell you that Orchids are native to the seven sister states (Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura & Arunachal) It is also abundant in these 7 states.
