Acid lime or Lemon juice powder was obtained from its juice under optimized conditions by spray drying with 20% Maltodextrin and Gum Arabic ratio of 4:1 Some brands incorporate spray‐dried amla juice with lemon juice as ready‐to‐serve (RTS) drink along with citric acid and glucose. The average amount of lime juice per kg of lime is 621.8 ml or 0.59 kg. and TSS 11.7% Brix , and dry soild yield of Lemon Powder is 28-30 % . If the data seems feasible for a value addition start-up , then you may proceed ....Tentative investment for semi automatic plant and machineries Rs 18-20 lakh

If the machinery is about Rs.20 Lakhs you are advised to apply for PMEGP loan ( unit cost Rs.25.00 Lakhs , Subsidy 25% (urban), 35% Rural, Women entrepreneur 35%, by availing bank term loan you can set up the lemon processing unit
