Hi?
Lucerne is not grass it is dicot protein fodder.
Grass is provided to get energy and dicot legumes can be provided to fattening the animal. Balanced fodder needs to provide to cattle for their total growth.

Dear Sir,

You might not be aware of Lucerne Grass.. It is highly used to increase the milk yield... In Gujarat People first cultivate the Lucerne & then starts their dairy farm.

Dairy farmers and other live-stock farmers can grow fodder using the hydroponic system. We are the manufacturers this hydroponic system used for growing fodder. It is a type of container. In 25 ft. x 10 ft. container you can get 700 kg of fodder per day. Its specific advantages are-

Less Space-
In this system, it uses very less space and water. For example - You can get 10 acre of land of fodder of 700 kg, but this machine requires only 25 x 10 feet only. It is just a small container.

Good Quality-
This fodder is 100% organic. So, people will get 100% organic milk from their animal.

Less Labour-
It needs only one person to grow fodder using this hydroponic system. For example - If you want 700 kg of fodder through conventional system, you require a minimum of 10 people; but in hydroponic system, you need only 1 person to operate it for just 3-4 hours of work. That is the major advantage.

This fodder is high in nutrition; it has 14% protein in it. We got the comments from ICR also about the quality. Means the quality is excellent, and animals will be get nutrition from this fodder. It has got lot of value in it as compare to conventional fodder.

Last year we had drought in Karnataka and some parts of Gujarat. At that time this type of system is very useful. After using this fodder, there will be an increase in milk, and cattle also will be healthy. There are many advantages of this product as mentioned above.

Return of investment of this product (ROI) is only 12-15 months.

Dear Mr. Manan Patel,

Does the government give some kind of subsidy to farmers to buy this system?

Regards,
Shweta
Last year we worked with Goa government, and they gave 100% subsidy to farmers. Likewise, slowly government is also accepting this type of technology and are cooperating and supporting.

Dear Mr. Manan Patel,

How do you train the buyers to operate this system?

Regards,
Shweta
No, there is no need for training. It is complete automated system. Somebody has to shift the trays every day, and any layman can operate this. Nobody has to control this machine. Anybody can handle this. Even an uneducated farmer can handle this machine easily.

This entire system is an assembled container which we have to erect at their farm. It will take 6-7 days to erect the machine.

Green fodder

If you are using green fodder , on which i mentioned in my previous update then you can replace concentrated for this. You can aviode up to 90% your concentrated food.. thr is lot research already done on this. I know initial cost is high but defenatly worth buying.

cost per kg will be 2 to 3 rs. You are buying concentrated food for 15 to 20 (avg 17)rs per kg. If you are having 30 cow/buffallo then you paying 510 rs per day and for month 15300. 183600 for yr.... if you are giving just 1 kg, if it is 2 kg then it will get double!!!.

You are getting all benifits like one concentrated food in Green Fodder.

Just add to above you are cutting you manpower also here... AND water!!

Cross check the following..

Beer waste is the worst thing to give as feed to cows. After giving beer waste as feed the cow will be not useable. There are some adverse effects like - if the regularly the cow gives birth to 5 calves then if you put it on bear waste then the same will give birth to 2 calves only. Secondly, the life of the cow was decreased by 40%. Thirdly, milk will be received but it will suck cows full energy. It is harmful in every way and should not be used.

Cotton seed cake is made from cotton seeds after extracting oil from the cotton seeds. Cotton seed cake is used for animal feed. which is good source of nutrition .It has long been used as a highly economic protein concentrated food for animal feeding. Being a great source of protein, fiber and energy
