Now I am staying in Bangalore and the revenue authorities says unless I am resident of my village, they cannot issue the certificate. If so, how can I get the certificate and from where? I am from an agricultural family and we have undivided agricultural property at our village in Bagepalli taluk. I have born and brought up in the same village. Currently I am staying in Bangalore and now I want to purchase some agricultural land near Mysore. When I approached the revenue authorities for an Agricultural Family member Certificate / Agriculturist Certificate, they informed me that, it can be issued only to the current resident of that village, as such you are no eligible for such certificate and they are not issuing me the certificate. Please tell me is there any such rules that only residents of the same village are eligible or they are purposely doing so to extract some money from me.
