Question Wish to start dairy farming

Hello Friends,

I am from Ratnagiri (konkan region in Maharashtra). I wish to start a dairy farm with 10 buffaloes. can anyone guide me on below points.

1. Which breed is suitable for konkan region

2. If anyone running the dairy farm please let me know i wish to visit

3. Can i sale the milk anywhere in Ratnagiri at bulk quantity

4. Please guide on bank loan and subsidy.

Please inform whether you are owning land and irrigation facilities
What type of animals such as buffaloes are cows
No of animals to be inducted on the dairy farm

Subsidy is not available for this year under DED scheme, please inform dairy farm is going to start with cows or buffaloes. Please approach us for project report .

At present there is subsidy from NDDB for breed multiplications farms with wither 200 buffaloes or Indigenous cows with subsidy of Rs.200 Lakhs for a unit cost of Rs.400 Lakhs
