I have several ideas to improve the Chat Forum. Some of them are:-
1. The person who starts the chat (author) can be given option to delete a particular posting in the chat forum. This will keep the chat forum neat and clean and will serve the purpose for which it is started. Right now, the option to clean up the entire history is available which removes the context of the chat as well.
2. Guests should not be allowed to post in any of the chats (including the General Chat). The reason for this is simple. We do not know the identify of the Guests and hence they post unnecessary things in both the General Chat as well as in the Individual Chat. Also, those who have been blocked by the author in the Individual Chat come back as Guests and post again.
3. AgriculturalInformation.com being a FREE website, we can request the newcomers to straight away become a member so that we can altogether avoid Guests and their posting.
4. If there is an option to block those individuals who post unnecessary things like advertisements etc in the Individual Chat (as well as the General Chatonce) whom the author has marked as them trouble makers, it will help to weed out the wrong people.
5. Finally, anybody who starts the chat should be the first person to post the first thing in the chat as right now there is confusion as who has started the chat is not clear.
