which is economic feasible irrigation method for goat farming ?

I am buying 10 acre of land , where i plan to setup goat farm with 50 - 100 goats.

I am also planning to cultivate feed (grass mostly ) and some other trees [malai vembu , white teak].

Which kind of method [solar powered , diesel power , commercial electricity connection ] is economically feasible for irrigation.

I am not ready to go for free electricity option since it take 5 - 10 years.[My land is in tamil nadu]

Please share you experience and knowledge.

Capital Expenditure is more in Solar Powered - approx 1.25 - 1.5 lakhs per HP , Diesel Capital expenditure is less but the recurring expenses are high for a 5 HP diesel pump you would be using about 1 - 1.5 ltrs of Diesel per hour.

2. how much efficient is a solar pump compared with diesel.

yes,you can save power according to available battery wattage.
2. how much efficient is a solar pump compared with diesel.
solar power plant max 25 years life .your investment be back in 3 to 5 years and this is one time investment.do not compare with diesel pump set.

yes ,as per your government norms.
