As per our research....Manpower is more better than milking machines for small unit dairies...
You are in initial stage na so you have know about cattle's and all those things...
One couple of workers you need it for 15 animals.. if its 10 animals then you need one worker only...
My Advise is you can go with man power...

Kindly find below mentioned info on slection of buffaloes for milking machine,
1) Murrah / Mehsana
2) prefered lactation 1or 2nd do not try to milk old animals with mm
3) Keep in mind that all the animals in shed will not be milk 70-80% buffaloes get adapted to system
4) It takes time and patience of owner to see through the tough milking session
5) Intoroduce the system slowly do not force or harm any animal.
