Hello,
This is Nakul Thakran from Gurgaon. I want your help in form of some suggestions and guidance. I have 21 acres of agriculture land in Pataudi which is 30-35 KMS from Gurgaon. It is very fertile land and currently we have leased it to a local farmer. We have tube well and the things which are required there.
About my background, I am born and brought up in Gurgaon. I am working in Hotel in Gurgaon in sales and marketing and have work experience of 8 years.
I want to do something of my own there but I am confused about what to do? I need some guidance and business ideas. I was inclined towards livestock but then I am open towards the ideas. Please suggest how should I pursue it and how to take it on? What will be the best thing for me?

Well Nakul, I would suggest you to please try out horticulture i.e. flowers and exotic fruits/Indian Fruits. Generally, speaking, these activities you can manage with your present job as well. Being closure to Gurgaon and working in Hoetl Industry, you have ready market for you

If you have sufficient water then in part of the land you can do aqua culture. The water from the fish pond can be utilized for your plants & this water in the pond can be replaced by fresh water. The water from the fish pond is rich in Nitrigen & other micro nutrients & is good for plants. By this you are using the water twice. Your fishes & plants will both thrive better.
Moreover ther is a very good market for fish in New Delhi.

If you are in the hotel industry, I would suggest doing Tomato cultivation in shadenet or a greenhouse.
As mentioned by somebody here, you have a ready market (given your hotel is willing to buy)
If you want to go a step ahead, you can make puree and sell it as a value added product to your hotel as well..

Start with a shadenet and once you have some expereince, go for a full fledged greenhouse!
