Hello,
I would like to meet somebody from Agriculture/Horticulture educational background , preferably at UAS,similar colleges ...., I being an IT employee , have some farmland and want to grow long term crops , so looking for some technical guidance/ help in this regard.

Where is your farm?? What is the type of soil in your farm??? Source of water?? If you could let us know all these then we could help you with the long term crops Suitable.

Thanks Ashwini for the response , It is 10 acres of land near Gauribidanur, has red soil & brown soil . No water source , but planning to have a borewell. The crops in mind are Coconut , Mango, sapota ( chikku) , Guava , pomegranate, pappaya etc. and / or some crops like rice,sugarcane .. we had put groundnuts& toor & ragi this year . Groundnut harvest is good as the rains were good. The only concern is that we dont get reliable people /labourers
