To start Emu Farming

I am asking about emu farming. I have one open plot beside our home. I want to ask you can i start emu farming for initially in the open plot. Is there any smell like poultery farm & any noise will create the birds because nobody objection to do. Basically I am from Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh. From where I have to purchase? can you guide me & can you give me list of good farming which is near for me. I am thinking to start with first 8-10 pairs.

You can start emu farming, initially please visit a emu farm nearby and then get practical experience. YOu can contact the animal husbandry department in Agri college for details about chicks
