If you are interested to go for aloe vera cultivation ,learn about the aloe vera processing process and why aloe vera processing units trys to source fresh aloe vera leaves from nearest places.
The production process aloe vera juice involves crushing , grinding or pressing of the entire leaf of the aloe vera plant to produce a liquid followed by various steps of filtrations and stabilization.
Some general steps involved in the aloe vera are –
1. Aloe vera leaves after harvesting must be kept in the icebox at 4-5 deg C and transported in the refrigerated vans from filed to processing plant within 6 hours .
2. Aloe vera leaves should be sound , undamaged , mould free and mature ( 3-4 yrs ) in order to keep all the active ingredients in full concentration
One important factor affecting the composition of the final product is the handling of the leaves after harvesting because of the decomposition of the gel matrix starts just after cutting of the leaves due to enzymatic reactions and activity of the bacteria normally present on the leaves .

If your farmland is closer to any local aloe vera processing unit , then start aloe vera cultivation .
