Kindly do plantations in your area i.e konkan.Dnt do the plantations by roots/stumps of teak because after some times it will grow like neem tree .So it will fallen due weight of the top level tree since your area with sandty and loose soil.By planting the tissue culture teak plants will grow straight without side branches.This was heard from many farmers from GOA .

I believe you can go ahead with teak samplings from a local nursary. Plant them just before mansoon. I have done the same in my farm. The success rate is more than 95%

yes u can surely plant teak in konkan there is no problem it grows very well. where is ur field located in konkan in which district. so that u can purchase plant material from the nearest source.
