Sir,

I am intrested in planting teak as investment in SAGAR, in SHIVMOGA dt KARNATAKA state were i can by seedlings and what are the different tecnique we can implement

We have with us Nilambur Teak plants ready at our nursery at Ripponpete 35 kms from Sagar. You can also visit our teak plantations to know the techniques of teak cultivation.

Hi,

The sagar in MP is the very opt place for teak plantations.Because the MP area the state and central govt doing the teak plantation in full swing.But they have used to plant the teak by stump ciulture.But you have stated that you want to purchase from Shimoga.Those people are will give root/stump culture .The stumpculture will take much time to attain the yield period will be minimum 25 -30 years.Now the advance technology for tree propagtion by Tissue culture technoloy.In tissue cultue somany salient feature are there like uniform growth,fast growth,early maturity i.e minimum 12 years onwards.Some assured income will be there on compleion 12 years.
