Question suggestions requested for farming newly

I am a new entrant to agriculture. I have just purchased 5 acres of punjai land with free EB and bore well. I am yet to do the fencing. Since it is raining in chengleput district i am not able to carry out fencing activities. I request suggestion for crops that could be grown without fencing. Local people are suggesting to go for rice cultivation using synthetic fertilizers. I do not want to take risk doing all 5 acres. I would like to start with 1 acre with organic / natural rice farming. Please suggest some crops which will not be grazed by cattle and sheet.

I would also like to know where to buy desi pulses cereals and other green manure seeds (pasunthal)
