Suggestions on cultivation of ASHWAGANDHA in Ratnagiri.

Hi All,

Kindly give your valuable guidelines for cultivation ASHWAGANDHA.
PROPERTY AT RATNAGIRI

1. I own agriculture hilly land, 2.5 acres at Ratnagiri of Konkan region in Maharashtra. Veral is a small village, 45 km. from Ratnagiri & 10 Km from Lanja (A taluka place)

2. My interest is to grow Ashwagandha, Since Konkan season is heavy rains in monsoon(4 months) followed by scarcity of water for 8 months, very hot & humid in summer. I am not sure if ashwagandha plant can survive in such climate.

Mr. Mazhar Bhai, As-Salam..! No! Ashwagangdha is not suitable for Konkan Region. Better go for Clonal Eucalyptus Plantation. Do Contact for further details,

Aswagandha is very well grow at konkan regions as there pippal grow very well.aswagandha is commercially proved very well to do in late khariff
