Sucker for G9 banana plant

Hello,

I have planted G9 in one hectare.
I am planning to plant G9 again at 1/2 hectare land. Can I use my use my sucker for this purpose?
Can I plant G9 banana in rainy season?

Hello sir,
You can defiantly use the suckers but uniformity wont be there as of first season or Tissue culture and you can plant little before rainy season as crop will not face any problem it love lot water

It's better to use fresh tissue culture plants otherwise there will be reduction in productivity/ yield and also susceptible to pest and disease. Regarding irrigation, drip irrigation is best. Though banana loves water, excess irrigation water will lead to root zone congestion due to removal of air from soil pores, thereby affecting plant establishment and growth.

As per this I will not use sucker for plantation and I will extend my next plantation to Sept end (after rainy season).
