To All Stevia Enthusiastics,
stevia undoubtedly complements sugar both hygienically and medicinally.
Below are some stay aware - pre'cautions' that new enterprenuers should be aware of:
* though lot of companies advertise about stevia, none of them have the genuine expertise by proof of success rate.
* they market themselves to sell saplings which they charge anyware from 2.50 to 10 rupees / sapling which is insane.
* not many extraction plants in india. selling dry leaves may not be a viable option
* beaware of buy-back with so called 'big' companies as they never accept to that price upon post harvest.
* my humble opinion to interested cultivators is wait till stevia goes to indian universities to release a indianized hybrid variety that suits well with indian climates which would happen in the next few years and Im sure you can reap bumper rewards that time.
Good Luck & May God Bless you All.
