Help regarding raising cows

HI!

I am new to farming. I have purchased a few acres very recently. I am planning to venture into dairy farming (only cows), along with crops as well. Can you please help me with regards to setting up of a dairy farm and the bare necessities that I might need. I plan to raise them in a couple of acres and would want to know the number of cows that can be raised within that space and also details regarding how much do I need to invest, etc. I would also want to know the best breed of cows that I need to buy since the land is nearby chennai. What sort of cow would be ideal for a climate like Chennai.
