Set up 5000 mts cold storage

I am looking for some help & suggestions to start a cold storage unit with 5000 mts capacity.
seeking more information on :-
- Project cost
- Subsidies
- Running cost
- Fix cost
- Variable cost

Cold store - advice

Dear sir,
Cold storage for agricultural produce is a very critical concept in our country. Building up a cold store for 5000mt. is a ideal capacity, but you should keep in mind the availability of produce either in the area where you plan to put up cold store or near by area where there is produce. If there is no agriculture produce you can go in for storage of tamarind, chillies etc.,
but you get profit only if your unit runs throughout the year, since the power cost alone goes upto 70% of the total overheads in a cold store project. Even the govt. of india is giving 25% capital subsidy this will be not profitable on a long run. Therefore pl. think before investing in a venture like this.
