Since there is Growing demand every year for domestic needs and exports and at present SANDALWOOD is in full demand.The demand of the sandalwood is increasing day by day but the production is very less i.e 17% of the total requirement.So our indian Govt forest department passed an ordinace to cultivate the sandalwood in private lands/ Patta lands/Waste Lands.
