Sale of Tamarind

Hello,

I have around 100 Tamarind Trees and each year i get good crops... I want to know how to sell the same on what basis can any one help

Hi

- You can give contracts on per tree basis OR

- Harvest the fruits, remove the pod cover, remove the seeds and dry and then you can sell it on per kg basis

Dear Sir,
Can you provide the location of yours , as there are lot of Cold storage available where you can store your tamarind during the season and during off season the same can fetch you a better price .
There are lot of individual's who owns cold storage at Tuticorine , tirunelveli ,coimbatore and there is a massive storage of M/S.Nila Cold storage (p) ltd where they store dry chili and tamarind. in huge quantity.

Hi thanks for your reply .... i don't have the time to harvest the fruits but can give it on contracts .. but the problem is that i don't know how to arrive at a price for each tree or at over all price for the 100 trees can any one help ... these are around 30 year old trees and giving good crops...
