The agro waste or woody biomass can be converted into power by the proven technology patented by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The waste heat in the process can be harnessed for any heating, drying, cooking, chilling (Cold storage/airconditioning). The ideal plant size will be 2 MW. Energy Plantations (Bamboo/Melia Dubia) in 300 Acres can sustain a 2 MW Power Plant from the third year of plantation for a period upto 25 years by scientific farm management practices.
