Problem in red laddy pappaya plants in Green House
I am facing problem in my red laddy pappaya plants which were shown by me in green house about 2 month back. after one month leaves turn round and new leaves are also turning round . growth of plant has stopped. i had tried melathene spray , sai gold and cohegn spray too. can any body help me. scientists at call centre advised to use malathene spray but of no use. some says its plastic virus and it is not curable .
thanks in anticipation

Check for whitefly population, the culprit who transmits the disease. In greenhouse environment, it may spread pretty fast. You may destroy seriously affected plant, which will control spreading the disease. Remove older leaves and destroy. Try using Yellow Sticky Card to trap whiteflies.
Try using Neem Oil spray.

papaya

It may be due to less light, poor drainage or virus infestation or a combination of these. You arrange for proper light by removing the shade-nets, make some drainage channels as per requirements to remove the extra water, make sprays to control the white fly along with the spray of neem oil.

Somesh.

Spray Dimethoate ( ROGOR ) and repete spray after 10 days. pls do add sticker in the spray

Do as said by vsrinivas in this blog to check population of white fly. this may be papaya mossiac disease and is deadly for payapa plantation.
