Hi,
I am planning to have pomegranate in 10 acres which is located in Basavakalyan Tal. Birdar district Karnataka. I have doing some analysis on pomegranate farming. I came to know few dangerous disease Wilt and Blight which causes serious damage to pomegranate crop. And because of which many farmers have removed the crop and lost hopes on pomegranate.
And my analysis say we have good scope of profit on this pomegranate farming in coming years wherein demand will be more and supply will be less and chances of good returns is more provided we have remedy on these serious diseases Wilt and Blight which is killing most of the farmers indirectly.
While browsing i found article in below link. i am not sure how far this is true. I could not digest the fact that we could not find remedy for these deadly diseases.
With this forum i have hope to get some good solution on these diseases and suggestion. Please help the helpless pomegranate farmers who are already into it and spent a lot on this without returns.
Thanks and regards,
Vinod Patil
