Looking for the plants to be planted in 250-300 acres of our model plantations in Tamilnadu. confirm Suitablity and the number of trees that can be planted per acre and the time when it can be harvested for Biomass.

Paulowina (mega flora)
The Paulowina tree is one of the fast growing the tree spice in the world like Gmelina arborea and Melia dubia.But the use of paulowina is not determined.No doubt it can be used for biomass.For biomass purpose so many tree plants are availiable like melia dubia, causirna,bamboo & prosopis juliflora.The paulowina tree will not grow in our area because its belongs to chinese spice.So the soilcondition and climate will not match for paulowina here.Eventhough if you make vigrous efforts for paulowina plantations it can be used for biomass .The density and DBH of paulowina is very very less than melia dubia,casurina,bamboo & prosopis juliflora.The paulowina tree caloric measure also very less .finally it not grow in south india in full blossom.
