We have received the approval to set up a biomass gasification power plant in Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu. Ours is an integrated approach with in-house biomass supply to maximise profits. The land for setting up the power plant etc. has been procured.
We will be procuring about 500 acres of farmland within 40km distance from the power plant location. This land deal is being finalised and the advance is likely to be paid in the next two months. This land will be used for growing ‘Beema Bamboo’ which is a very fast growing new variety. In the plantation, we will also be setting up a Greenhouse Farming, Precision Farming, Cold Storage & compost unit.The revenue streams will be:1. Sale of electricity to TNEB or mostly to third party industries
2. Sale of charcoal
3. Sale of renewable energy certificates
4. Sale of CDM (Koyoto Protocol)
5. Sale of compost
