Organic fertlizer

Hello All,
I wish to know what is the the extent to which organic fertilizer can be used to cultivate organic farm produce farmers in India.

What are the benefits of using such a fertilizer?
Is organic waste that is converted by some process, used directly as fertilizer or is it fortified by additives such as bone meal etc to increase efficacy of the organic waste compost which is used as fertilizer?

who are the major producers of organic fertilizers in India & what is the pack size/cost of such fertilizers in the open market?
Does government (state or central) supply it at a subsidized cost?
If yes what is the cost.

I request to get details on all the above.

Hello sir
Organic fertilizers add natural nutrients to soil, increases soil organic matter, improves soil structure and tilth, improves water holding capacity, reduces soil crusting problems, reduces erosion from wind and water, Slow and consistent release of nutrients.
They have slow release capability.Distribution of nutrients in organic fertilizers is not equal.
Improves water holding capacity,Increases water infiltration rates ,Improves soil structure ,Reduces aluminum toxicity,
Recycles nutrients.
Nutrients in "organic" fertilizers must be converted to an "inorganic" state before they can be utilized by plants. Equivalent amounts of nutrients will provide the same nutritional value to plants.

eg.Blood meal is an organic fertilizer that contains 12% N. Animal and poultry wastes, composted leaves and municipal waste products are other organic sources.
