I have developed a organically suirtable chilli variety which has good potential in the export market with high colour value of around 154 ASTA units and with low pungency of 0.06% capssicine. Since the last 25 years I have established the cultivation packges using only organic inputs for this variety. Now in the last 3 years the yelid also has got stabilized and this variety has been registrated at ICAR with the no INGR 09129 and certified by NBPGR and Andhra pradesh Bio Diversity Board. This R&D is also supported by NABARD. Twice (in1999 and 2007) I have sent the dry materials of chilli for testing in Spices Board's quality testing lab at Cochin and those test reports are available for your kind reference. This variety is most suitable for organic cultivation practice. Now I am confident of cultivating it in large scale completly with organic cultivation practice.
