Subsidies are normally linked to crop types. If your project is a fruits/orchard/flowers etc, it is the scheme of National Horticulture Mission that applies all over India-for drip and irrigation facilities there are subsidies in the range of 30-50% linked to the crops you are cultivating. Subsidies are always back end. You get it only after investing for the project, and in many cases it can get delayed by months or years too, and you may have to give part of the subsidy as bribe too. So, better not to depend on subsidies and government schemes too much. Try to become a successful farmer by playing according to the market-cultivate those in great demand, high value and low supply.
