Need suggestions for inter-cropping in coconut farm near madukkur,Pattukottai

Hi

We are running a coconut farm near madukkur ,Pattukottai (taluk) .Now planning for inter-cropping .Please tell me which plant will be suitable and is there any companies with buyback offer.

In kharif you can grow green manuring crops likes sunhemp,legumes like cow pea,green gram which also helps in nitrogen fixation.If trees are taller,you can grow clove,black pepper s also.Banana can also be a inter crop.care should be taken to not effect on sunlight availability due to shadow and competition for nutrients between coconut & intercrop.Also take guidance from nearest agriculture officer,agri.university etc.
