Need Humulus Lupulus (Comman Hops)

i am residing at Rajkot(Gujarat). i am a ayurvedic doctor. i am going to try and experiment a medicinal remedy for my patient for psychological disorder with insomnia. for that i need HOPS powdered extract or powdered form of HOPS flowers.. i know that it is from canabeace family. i can use canabeace also. but that is very potent and addictive. so i don't want to use such potent and habit forming drug. i want mild sedative or calming agent which is HOPS. so this is my primary and experimental remedy. so for that i need HOPS powdered extract or powdered flowers of HOPS. for that i need minimum 1 Kg. so for that i want to know? how much price of it i have to pay? please indicate total price of 1 KG. quantity and courier and delivery charges included. I will be waiting for answer as soon as possible.

Copper deficiency also causes insomnia. What about R serpentina.I will explore the possibilities of Hop flowers if it is available in Kashmir.

Thanks for your response. but R. Serpentine is anti-hypertensive property. and it is used as anti hypertensive drug. so in general person it create hypotantion. and its major side effect is suicidal tendency development on long term use. that is major draw back to use this drug as mild sedative.

could you share your experience of sourcing hop flowers in Kashmir... I too have done some research for the same, albeit for beer making purpose... i feel they should be growing, possibly in the wild, near about lahual-spiti in uttaranchal
