Dear sir, generally contract farming is being taken up by any seed company or any other agro products manufacturing company. Suppose a seed company wants to produce some hybrid seed on other farmers fields suppose in 100 acres . They will approach all small farmers about 40-50 in village advise the farmers to produce hybrid seeds , Jowar seed . Parents seed they are going give to farmers. After getting the crop the company will procure the hybrid seed at reasonable price from farmers. Initially they create agreement with farmers is called contact farming .
