Piggery is an allied activity apart from agriculture, you have to set up the farm in the outskirts of village or town and need to maintain hygienic conditions

Please inform number of pigs to be purchased to be started and land available etc. Please ask for project report for availing Loan from Bank

If your proposed farm is located within Municipality / City limits then you have to take NOC from Pollution Control Board and Health Inspector .
If your farm is within Panchayat limits , then you have to get permission from Panchayat for the construction and rearing of pig only .
Stray pigs are ( without badge on the pig ear ) is fineable offence .
For pig slaughter house and pork value addition manufacturing processing and trading business you have to get FSSAI license .
