Mix cropping with maize
Ashwini has already suggested two crops that are suitable. Also, urdbeen, mungbeen, pigeonpae and some varieties of cucumber can be grown. There is also possibility of intercropping medicinal herbs like kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) and tulsi(Ocimum sanctum). However, no experimental data is available. These can be tried on small scale.

If you are intrest in maize alloy cropping system in your farm. there are various alloy cropping can be done , in keeping the which area y belong,s eg. north west east or south.
But in genrel the pluses cropp recommanted like arhar moong urda and some extent oil seed seeme and custer ect.
if you specify the location than the most suitable option can be used for the area.
