mushroom Cultivation

Dear friend,

I am kiran from basti (U.P) . I have some land in my village where i want to start mushroom cultivation. So, for that I want to know in Uttar paradesh Any Govt. agency will help me or support me in terms of training marketig, like which technique i have to adopt , how to do the marketing , where i will get the intial support and is govt will give me any subsidery in this mushroom cultivation?

May be this mushroom cultivation will help my village poor farmers to improve their life.

pls make a visit to the nearest agriculture or horticulture dept. or krishi vigyan kendra for help and support and practical view. or they can give u trainig too.

Dear Kiran,

Good to see you interested in Mushroom cultivation. Few points to be noted before you start

1. You have to be committed
2. Mushoorms are like new born babies. At most care needed.
3. Marketing is a challenge in this business. I cane share few idea. PM me.
4. It really does not require any big training or heavy investment. Its always cheaper on Money and space comparing to dairy farming, sheep farming or even banana cultivation. It really has heavy returns.
