Hi,

I want to cultivate Musambi in 30 acres. these are the land and soil qualities

1> land is located in Kadiri anantapur district (Andhra)
2>Red soil and bit dry climate
3>enough water facility we have
4>land is bit slope toward east


Please tell me which type of musambi will suite to our land And which is the best musambi plant or is there any other fruit plant will suit to our land

You are interested in mosambi cultivation.As per information furnished in this site I think that your land is very suitable.we are having the latest arrival variety "Rangpur' is the best yield and the fruit also big in size and taste.And also we have new variety of lemon "BALAJI" 'H" variety for good yield .

Hi Shiva Kumar,

Whic type of deceases will effect musambi.whic precations that i should take befor planting the trees.

1>How many years of time will take to give crop
2>What is the life time of musambi tree
3>How many crops we will get per year

Mosambi cultivation

dear sir,

Mosambi cultivation will in any type of soil except clay with water lgging.But your place is very opt for mosambi cultivation.

1.The yield of mosambi will starts on completion of two years.because the sapling of mosambi is bio budded "Rangpur"variety.but we dnt allow the yield immediately.Only we can allow the mosambi for flowering the years of 4 .Because we allow the flowering in the early stage the dimension tree will not be expanded.an account of this the yield will be in less quantam.

2.There specfic disease for mosambi.the citrus and nosambi is the same family,Only green warms will attack frequently for citrus.So the same my applicablre for mosambi.But we can control the same by applying neem cake solution frequently i.e every week.If we want healthy mosambi tree we can apply only well ripped farmyard manure or vermicompost with bio fertlilisers ,fungicide and pesticide (We are having the mixture with us to control the root rot .) And also one type disease will be there .thats with any symptum the tree will die.This is major draw back.it will not happended frequently any how we will ready eradicate the same by applying the bio with nature manure.

3.The life span the mosambi is i think minimum 30 years and more.
