Micro farming or beekeeping

Hi everybody. I want to utilise the backyard of my home for agricultural purposes. I'm between micro farming and beekeeping at the moment. I've no experience of either but willing to put the work and effort into research and set up either. I just want to put my unused space to good use and do something for the environment. What would be the most satisfying of the two options do you think? And in terms of setup costs, what can I expect to pay for used beekeeping equipment? Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Is utilising used equipment advisable or is it better to buy new? I'm now considering both beekeeping and micro-farming. I have the space for both so why not? I think they would compliment each other nicely.
