Hi,
Can any one engage in Medicinal crop in area of west UP( Agra, Mathura, aligarh). I want to know which type of herbs we can grow in this area. I am interested in growing herbal crop.

Medicinal crop

There are several medicinal species like tulsi, bhumui amla,kalmegh, satawari and punernawa that can be grown successfully in Agra and adjoining district but aromatic crops like palmarosa, lemongrass and citronella can be better alternative so far as return as well as market is concerned.If water during summer is available, mint species can also be cultivated.
