Marketing tips for goat/Sheep required.

Hello Friends,

Can any one give me the tips in marketing of goat sheep? Here are below problems we are facing.

1) At time of selling the animal all the local buyers are ring up and quoting the very low market price which is lose of business. Those rates are not suitable for goat farmers. May be those are OK for some one who is rearing goats in free range hill areas.

2) We can not establish the shops to sell our goat meat, or we are not butcherer to sell the meet.

3) We can not invest in purchasing the machinery to process meet and export the meet.

Thanks,
Ravindra.

Marketing Tips for Live Stock

Dear Sir,
Don’t worry be always clever & alert in life?

1-This is habit of Butchers or purchaser to D Grade you Goats when they see in the Market. What I suggest you to sell the Goats from your farm only by adopting Marketing Strategies such as Words of Mouth, distribution of Pamphlets in as many as villages around your farm,Painting Banners of your farm on the Walls near to each Village, internet, Consultants, Ngo’s, Paper Advertisements Weekly, near the temples where Sacrifice is Compulsory and Animal Husbandry.

2-You can make tie up with Butchers or start your own shop in order to sell daily 2- 3 Goats as in this you can gain more profit. You are not Butcher but as business men please learn how to use the Butchers in proper way.

3-Meat Processing is very expensive. Unless you get any Big Confirmation order don’t think of that.

Goats can be sold in lots from the Owner’ farm to the new farmers or to the local butchers or meat processing plants or to Government agencies or in Weekly temple fair for scarifies or in livestock fairs, periodical markets and daily markets where ever the owner find more profit, stability and less effort.

Each goat is assessed individually by the buyer’s and the factors affecting the price are percentage of meat, milk yield, breed, age, sex, quality, locality and season. The Govt. of India has established marketing cells in the Third Five-Year Plan in various states to regulate the existing markets and organize co-operative markets to facilitate marketing of products, to make market surveys, to collect and disseminate market news, and to advise better marketing methods and adoption of grading procedures.

If you need any help I am here to here to help you Brother.
