Hi
I planted two mahogany plants 20 years back and sold it last week and got heavy returns. Now I want to start a small plantation in India. If any body have mahogany plantation project reports please contact me. Those who are interested in the projects can also contact me.

Sri KBJayaprakash , Please inform how many years you have to wait for harvesting/cutting Mahogany trees. Banks generally give 7-9 years long term loan for farm forestry. If more than 9 years term loan will not be extended. You have to pay loan in lumpsum.

Suppose you take up Mango or other orchard crop you will get 5 years gestation Period and the rest of 6 years for repayment of term loan installments
