SVM EXPORTS grow and supply premium quality Jatropha seeds for agricultural use. We also supply treated Jatropha seeds and saplings. Our seeds can withstand any soil and climatic conditions as they are gathered from the foothills and forests of Western Ghats. Jatropha plant needs very less maintenance.

We offer jatropha seeds that are derived from Jatropha Curcus, an oil yielding plant. A native plant of South America, Jatropha is a crucial bio diesel feedstock. Its leaves and seeds are extensively used in numerous medical preparations, since ages. The oil is extracted by crushing the seeds. Being unfit for human consumption, since ancient times its oil is used in oil lamp. Lately constant efforts and research are conducted to utilize Jatropha as a workable source of vegetable oil to generate fuel.

Jatropha seeds.

Dear sir!

Your seeds/sapplings alone can not attract any farmer for plantation.
The following issues are widely discussed and even many critics disagree Jatropha as a viable crop in many parts of India.

I personally want to know one thing!
How shall a farmer could be convinced a.The yield/acre.b.The gestation period and finally the so called oil content >30%.

No one is there to fund this project without a buyback agreement nor any such agreements ever mention a fair Price for the seeds.
Can you please answer me so that I shall buy seeds from you planting Jatropha.
To be very honest!
I myself lost few millions in the planation part and know the best thing not to buy inferior planting weed materials be from rajasthan or elsewhere.

I also challenge the oil content which is more a head ache than selling the Jatropha cake.
One coimabatore based guy assured me to place order for 100Mts of Jatropha oil@Rs40/kg but failed to lift even 100kgs.

Things are like that.............
Selling Jatropha seeds are good!
Saving Jatropha farmers is also must.

Jatropha

Dear Mr Badhrinath

I noted your comments , and regret to hear of your setback & loss
of investment.

I am also very much interested in Jatropha, and so far all I have heard
is success stories and Jatrpha projected as a profitable non food crop.

I wish to hear of your unhapply experience, and most probably pl highlight at
which stage or point your project failed. I am from Sri Lanka and
invested in Jatropha, with future plans for expansion.

Warm regards

Water retention method part of complete project?

Sri Lanka

My ref: IENG 373111, MIET 505330 registration with IET in GB, jatropha shrub.

Dear Sir,

At present can you tell me please if you use a shredder for making mulch from the twigs and prunings from the branches of the (jatropha) shrub?
What is the make and design of the shredder that you know (if any)?

I noted that the mulch is used for water retention when spread around the base of the shrub and subsequently it turns into compost to enrich the soil of the plant roots.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you, kind regards,

Johan Schiphorst
