Is original Sale Deed required for doing the Land Survey?

Sirs,

I have an agriculture land in a village in Tamilnadu.

I paid the fee for survey to be taken through challan.

I wish to know if I need to carry my original Sale Deed on the Survey Day to present the same to the Surveyor or Would the Xerox copy of my sale deed suffice the purpose?

If anybody has already taken survey on their own lands, then please answer to this question.

original deed is not necessary if you have FMP with deed. pls present photo copies only . in TN which area?

land is in vaduganoor village in Utangari taluka in krishna giri district.

Field Map . it must be with your deed set it self. but in any case there is no need for original deed

Hi guys its not fmp... Its actually fmb which means feild map book which can be obtained from the vao village adminstration officer by saying your patta number and village name.
