You have to traval around 250 kms from chennai to get the cheap priced land that too around 3 lac per acr for a barren land 6-7 lac per acr for a developed land

I was talking to brokers and some of land owners near by melmaruvathur. if you bargain you will get 1acre for 5 lacs. only problem is lack of water resource and one time crop. you have to fully depend on lake water based on rainfall ever year. and also road connectivity is not good. you will get land in middle due to that you can't cultivate on your own.
