Medicinal Herbs- Cultivation.

You can cultivate medicinal plants in a planned manner and earn reasonable revenue. We are promoting,

Kalmeg- Andrographis paniculata – siriyanangai 1.5 tons /acre in 120 days. 30-40/kg (Cost of seed Rs 350/kg)

Tulsi – Ocimum 2-3 tons /acre/year/ Rs 20-30/kg dried leaves(Cost of seed Rs 100/kg)
Makoyi – Solanum nigrum, 2-3 tons/acre in 0ne year Rs 20/kg(Cost of seed Rs 100/kg)
Bhumiamla– Phyllanthus amarus 1.5 – 2 tons Rs 35/kg 120 days. (Cost of seed Rs 750/kg)
Mucuna seeds- Kaunch 500-600kg /Acre in 6 months(Cost of seed Rs 150/kg)
Coleus forskohlii – 500-600 kg per acre in 6 months Rs 100-150/Kg(Cost of Cuttings Rs 2000/acre)
Day Jasmine: - Leaf : Rs 30/ Kg leaf 2.5 – 3 tonnes/acre /year(Cost of seed Rs 150/kg)
Etc.
State Horticultural Department also giving 20% subsidy for growing these crops. These can be grown as single crop or mixed crop or hedge. We are offering buy back agreement for the crops.
