I want to open onion and potato storage

Hi,

I'm looking to open a onion and potato storage but i have not any idea how much money will require for this and whats equipment's require,

i'm requesting kindly advise and share your ideas if you know about these.

Horticulture department provide you 50 percent assistance on onion godown. Contact local horticulture department.

Cold sorage facility is need for storing onion and potato etc. At present the National Horticulture Board is not extending any subsidy after April'2016 for general category applications (Letter of Intent applications) . Hitherto the NHB is extending 40% subsidy on the cost of the unit. Hence, it may be difficult for you to run the unit with high cost and to service the installments to the Bank if loan is availed . Please think off and contact us for further details.
