I want to grow vegetables in half acre. Please advise

Hello,

I am interested to grow the common vegetables like tomato, mirchi, potato, cucumber, leafy vegetables etc...
in half acre land.

Please advise if it is advisable whether it is feasible to get decent returns per month.
How much can I expect per month ?

Leafy vegetables will get harvested in 15 days to 6 months. So your thinking is in the right direction.

You should be able to get good returns in leafy vegetables itself. Focus on different leafy vegetables. Check this site for more details. http://nallakeerai.com/

Just growing leafy vegetables, Can I get a proper margin.
Can I grow them in a organic way?

Can I get some training? I am new to this agriculture domain, but want to switch to it.
Basically I am in to software. Please advise.

The link I have provided will give you some idea. These people have started their entire farming based on leafy vegetables only. You should get profit (except during rains) easily.

Call the person in the link and see whether you can spend sometime with them (they are nearby Chennai). BTW, these people grow everything in an organic way.
