I am Agamdeep sidhu from Punjab , Ludhiana. I have 11 acres of land. On 3.5 acres I planted paddy. N other 7.5 acres gave on rent. But I am not getting profit from all this. I want proper benifit from my land. So please suggest me which kind of agri I can do on my land, which is good for agriculture. N how's agri of roses and mashrooms?? Plz tell me everything about cost, n end result.. Thanks

Yes it is feasible to use ur land in a better way.

Firstly u will have to test the soil ph. and give us information whether it is well drained or water logged land

U may cultivate fruit crops such as litchi, guava, dates, aonla, pomegranate.
U may also plan for some aromatic or medicinal plants
flower crops also do well in punjab.
just check the soil ph.

The best option is to do organic agricultural farming. Test your soil and know what kind of nutrition you soil exactly requires and you can produce a good yield. Dont take general advices be specific.

You can contact the scientific institutions near by to find out which crop will suit your soil better as the altitute factor also plays a part.
