I am interested to grow Stevia more information needed

Hi,
We are basically from a Village near Shimoga, Karnataka. I would like to grow Stevia in one acer, The land having irrigation fecility (borewell + natural water). Soil type sand mixed black colour(some places red colour). I need more information about growing Stevia, cost involving, seed availablity, cultivation method, marketing etc.
